In 2014 OSAF introduced a concept originally developed by The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts called “Art Collectors in Training (ACT)”. ACT encourages appreciation of the arts among youth and provides children up to 12 years of age an opportunity to view and purchase original art donated by participating artists. Donated art will be sold in a “kids-only” shopping zone for $3 or $5 per piece.
ACT will take place Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This activity is located in the Children’s Fair area near Mike Fahey and 12th Streets.
